New to White Hall Baptist Church? Great! Start Here...
We are delighted that you decided to visit our website and learn about what God is doing at White Hall Baptist Church. We know how intimidating it can feel when visiting a new church, so we want to make it as easy as possible. We have some information below that we think could be helpful. If you have any further questions, please feel free to email or call us. And, if you simply choose to visit, there will be some friendly greeters at the main entrance who will be delighted to assist you.
Where Do I Enter the Building?
Our current building has "curb appeal." But it can be a bit misleading to someone who has not come inside.
The front of the building, which faces I-75, is the entrance to our offices and fellowship hall. Those doors remain locked at all times. The door you will want to come in is on the north side of the building, under the awning that says, "Worship Center." Greeters will be at the doors to welcome you and answer any questions you may have.

Is There Child Care?
We provide childcare for children from birth to 5 years old during Sunday School (9:30 - 10:30 AM), Sunday morning worship (10:45 AM - noonish), Sunday evening worship (6 PM - 7 PM), and Wednesday evening worship (7 PM - 8 PM). We also provide a "Mommy & Me" room for nursing moms or for moms who do not feel comfortable leaving their babies. The worship services are streamed into those rooms so that moms can enjoy the service while still being with their child.
What Safety Precautions Are in Place?
It is unfortunate that we live in an environment where we need to ask such questions. But this is the world we live in, and we at White Hall BC have responded. We have a Safety Team that is on duty at all regularly scheduled services. We have monitored security cameras, and our Safety Team members regularly participate in training for a variety of scenarios. If you are particularly interested in some of what our Safety Team does to work for a safe environment, feel free to speak with any of them.
What Should I Wear?
Some folks wear their "Sunday best" while others wear what they would normally wear throughout the rest of the week. What you wear isn't that important to us, so long as your attire doesn't distract from worship.
What Bible Study Class Might I Enjoy?
We are a growing church, so we know that eventually there will be classes we offer that are not currently part of our Sunday School. To get more information on which class might be the best fit for you, there are a couple of options.
First, you can just show up on a Sunday morning before 9:30 AM and ask the greeters at the door which class they recommend. They would be more than glad to assist you.
Second, you can click on the following link to see what classes we currently offer (White Hall Sunday School Classes).
What Will the Worship Services Be Like?
While we strive to offer the Lord our best as we worship, we don't focus on professionalism. Instead, we focus on authenticity.
We strive to sing a mixture of hymns and other songs, not in the hymnal. All of the lyrics to the congregational songs will be on the screen, so folks won't need to bury their heads in a book as they sing to the Lord.
The sermons are drawn directly from Scripture to help each worshipper understand what God requires and respond appropriately with repentance and obedience. (The pastor preaches from the Christian Standard Bible translation.) There will typically be sermon notes in the Sunday morning bulletin on which you can take notes to make the most of your time in God's Word.
As our guest, you won't be asked to do anything during your visit(s) except to complete a Guest Registration card and place it in the offering plate at the end of the service. We promise not to make any unannounced visits to your home. Instead, we would like to send you a letter, and the pastor will call you the following week to thank you for visiting us. He would be delighted to answer any questions you may have.
You will almost certainly discover that when you're here, you're family. White Hall BC is really a family of friends that is ever-expanding. We've got more than enough room for you!
