Faith and Fitness
It is common among Christians to recognize both the benefits and the necessity of pursuing spiritual growth. We know we should read our Bibles, pray, worship, share our faith, and so much more. We realize that God can use those activities as a means of grace to help us grow in our walk with Him.
But we generally don't take our physical fitness as seriously as our spiritual fitness. This is in spite of the fact that the God who gave us our spirit has also given us our body to steward for His glory. After all, it belongs to Him, it is the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit, and we can only do for the Lord what our bodies allow us to do. If we have not taken care of our bodies, there are things God cannot call us to do.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (CSB): "Don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought at a price. So glorify God with your body." (emphasis mine)

As the Lord gives greater clarity and direction, we will provide more information.
